This is the painting from my Master Copy project at Seton Hill University. The assignment was to find a painting by an artist (I chose Alex Ross) and duplicate it. Here's the finished project. I free-hand drew the image on the canvas in pencil and then went to town painting.
This is an oil painting and the original dimensions are 2 & 1/2' X 4'.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactAt first sight, I was wondering what this original was doing here on dA, and then I read the artist description. The point that caught my eye was:

And that started making me wonder... and soon enough, I was in awe; this is a comic series cover which I envy. The person whom has made this creation, has certainly delivered in the process.
